Tejeda
Trilingual worldwide researcher, audio producer, writer, and photographer.
Currently reporting and writing long form at NYU.
I recently the world for a year as a Watson Fellow, spending my time digging in archives and exploring the relationship between photography and memory, with cameras, an audio recorder, and notebook in hand. I produced podcasts for a few years across various genres for Wonder Media Network, and my own audio documentaries, informed by my time learning from the In The Dark Creative Audio Documentary course. Before that I studied environmental studies and journalism at Colorado College.
I have been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists for my photography and writing about environmental policy in Colorado.
Mostly, I simply enjoy following my curiosity and documenting what I notice.
